RainTech Roofing for a Reason Kicks off 2026 with ARF House Tulsa

Animal Rescue Foundation has been around for over 39 years helping homeless pets of the Tulsa area find loving homes. All Tulsa shelters are kill shelters currently. Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) was created to give these animals a second chance, and give them comprehensive veterinary care. Most animals with ARF are set up with volunteer foster families and are put on their website for adoption. 

When someone is interested in adopting a pet through ARF, they can schedule an appointment to meet with the new pet at the ARF house in Lafortune Park. The ARF house is also the hub for all volunteers and board members to take donations, calls, and surrenders. Last winter, the ARF house was extremely busy, and due to the winter storms their roof could no longer hold up. One staff member stated they had to put a bucket on their desk to catch the water during operations. They have also had two break ins, where their computers and phones were stolen as well. 

ARF is entirely run on donations, they get no federal or state funding, and depend on Tulsans to help them. ARF is in need of kibble, both puppy and regular adult food, cat food, any supplies. They also just need donations. ARF can only exist when they are getting funding from you, people who care about the animals who are left to stay in shelters.

Fostering can be very rewarding, and sometimes the perfect situation for people who don’t want to make a forever commitment, but still want to experience rescuing an animal. Also, don’t let budget stop you! All vet care is covered by ARF, and they will provide the basic necessities needed for fostering like food, toys, kennels, etc. 

ARF was nominated over ten times to Roofing for a Reason, we were so ecstatic to be able to help this worthwhile cause, and the roof installation process went as smoothly as it could. They now have a roof that will last them a lifetime, and protect both the volunteers, and also the cutest pets you’ve ever seen!
