When you nominate someone for Roofing for a Reason, we collect information about both of you:

• The nominee: name, property address, any email or phone number you provide, eligibility details such as whether it is their primary residence, and what you share about their roof, their situation and why you are nominating them

Please share only what you are comfortable sharing on the nominee’s behalf. We use nominee information to review the nomination and, for finalists, to contact the nominee directly about the program. We do not send nominees automated messages. A selected neighbor’s name, story or photos are shared publicly only with their permission.

You do not have to nominate online. Nominations can also be made in person or on paper at our office, 3815 S. 79th East Ave, Tulsa, OK 74145, and are handled the same way.

• National Weather Service (storm alerts on the Website; your browser requests alerts directly from the National Weather Service, which receives your IP address)

These providers are contractually obligated to safeguard your information and use it only for authorized purposes.

We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests.

6Cookies, Ad Tracking and Browser Storage

We use cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to:

• Analyze traffic patterns

A. Analytics and Advertising Tags

The Website uses the following tags, which set their own cookies and collect information such as your IP address, device and browser details, pages viewed, and ad interactions under their own privacy policies:

• Google Analytics measures Website traffic and how pages are used.
• Google Ads measures which ads lead to inquiries and may be used to show you RainTech ads on other websites and apps.
• Meta Pixel measures which Facebook and Instagram ads lead to inquiries and may be used to show you RainTech ads on Meta platforms.
• Follow Up Boss website tracking records the pages you visit on the Website so that, once you contact us, our team can see your visits alongside your request.

When you arrive from an ad or a campaign link, we also record the campaign details (such as UTM tags and ad click identifiers) and the page you first landed on, and attach them to any form you submit so we can tell which advertising works. Analytics and advertising tags do not receive the contents of the forms you submit.

B. Your Choices

You may block or delete cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect certain Website functionality. You can also manage ad personalization through Google Ad Settings and Meta Ad Preferences, and opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. The Website does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

C. Browser Storage

Some Website features save a small amount of information in your own browser (local storage and session storage) rather than on our servers:

• Nomination drafts: an unfinished Roofing for a Reason nomination is saved on your device so you can come back and finish it. It is cleared when you submit the nomination.
• Campaign details: the campaign information described above is kept only for your current browsing session.
• Confirmation details: after you submit a nomination, the nominee’s first name is kept briefly to personalize the thank-you page and is removed once that page is shown.

This information stays on your device and is not sent to us unless you submit a form. Anyone who uses the same device and browser may be able to see a saved draft, so on a shared or public computer, finish or clear your nomination before leaving. You can remove all of it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for raintechoklahoma.com.
