Production Manager

Job Description:

RainTech is seeking a project manager that is organized, motivated, and goal driven. We are looking for an individual that is passionate about continuing to grow personally as well as be a key player in positioning RainTech as a dominant leader in the commercial roofing industry.

The RainTech Production Manager will effectively coordinate administrative and field operations on large commercial and residential projects. The Production Manager will work to efficiently complete projects to specification, delivering the highest quality work and insuring customer satisfaction, while continuing to refine RainTech’s processes and procedures.

Our ideal Production Manager will have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in production management, possessing strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. This candidate will demonstrate excellent organization and time management abilities, along with meticulous attention to detail. Bilingual proficiency is preferred.

Physical capability to work on elevated surfaces and climb ladders is necessary, as well as a comfort level with visiting job sites approximately 50% of the time. Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel, Google Gmail, Google Calendar, and possession of a valid driver’s license are required for this role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily morning meetings with production team.
    Review all specifications, plans and work orders for all incoming projects.
    Work directly with the Project Coordinator to create schedules and coordinate crews. PMs, and jobsite superintendents.
  • Work directly with the Project Coordinator to order and coordinate deliveries of materials and equipment needed to complete the job.
    Must be proficient in identifying and developing process improvements. Will work with the Executive team to identify and develop process improvements.
    Resolve problems on jobs.
  • Financial responsibilities include providing/reviewing budget information, monitoring expenditures, identifying variances between estimated budget and actual expenses, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, vendors, suppliers, and customers to ensure the projects are completed from start to finish in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Enforce all job site safety requirements and comply with OSHA standards.
    Ensure all jobs are completed to estimated specifications.
